It's been a good month as our wonderful friends moved back to the US. After being in Germany for 5 years, the Dzmuras are back!!! Yay!
We spent a lot of time prepping their house to be ready for them to move back in. Let's just say renters weren't gentle on the house!
After ripping out all of the carpet on the main level and upstairs, as well as painting everywhere but the basement we thought we were done. Nope! After lots of cat residue, Kim had to have part of the floor replaced and now it looks as though the carpet will also be replaced in the basement. Doh!
The best part about painting was that there was no carpet to spill on!!! That made it quite easy because we didn't have to be so careful! And the kids enjoyed playing everywhere while we worked.
Of course I don't have an after picture. But it looks GREAT! We just have Kim's room and the kids' bathroom to paint and then we can call it good!
