Luckily I was able to make most of my clothes for trek. Mom was nice enough to make 2 dresses for me (because I can't follow a pattern). I made 3 sets of bonnets, aprons and bloomers. I also took the collars off Jake's shirts so they looked more authentic.
Since we were head of a family we had to take a bunch of stuff for everyone. We had to take 2 dutch ovens, a big pot, spoons, knives, dish soap, a hatchet, rope, etc, etc. And I was able to make it all fit into this small rubbermaid container.
As for our personal clothing, scriptures, and any extras (but really not much), were to fit them into a 5-gallon bucket. It all worked out really well and then we had the bucket to sit on.
