My friend Amanda is expecting her 2nd child any day now. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend her baby shower, but I wasn't going to miss a chance to put my newfound sewing skills to use.
Here is the tag blanket... I love all of the ribbons. Some are looped and others are just tags. And I made sure to include the mink dots fabric on the back.
Amanda's theme for the nursery is anchors. So when I saw this fabric I knew I wanted to make some burp cloths. Funny thing is this is the exact fabric she chose for some other projects.
I really like the chenille on the back. It seems that it'll absorb quite a bit. I will definitely be using chenille on future projects like this.
