Got a call from some friends in the ward asking if we'd like to go to the local orchards with them to pick raspberries. Since humidity was low and temperatures were tolerable, I thought it would be a good idea to join them. It ended up being the best thing we could have done.
The kids helped pick raspberries for a little bit. But then it became more fun to give each other rides in the wagons.
After picking the kids waited on the porch while us moms bought apples and cider doughnuts.
Travis wanted me to share the pic of the slug he found.
This orchard has a play area with a ship and swings and a slide area. I should have planned better and took lunches so I could sit on the porch and enjoy the breeze while they played. Oh well. It was a good time anyway.
