One of the activities at the camp ground was a pumpkin carving contest. They had pumpkins categorized by the age of those that submitted them. All of the kids that turned in a carved pumpkin got a ribbon and a prize. As for the adults, there was a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Unfortunately we only saw 2 of the 3 winners.
Here are the 2 winners submitted from adults. Jake and I have decided we want to do one for next year. We'll have to work on a really good one.
This potty pumpkin wasn't part of the contest. Instead he was hanging out during trick-or-treating. Notice he has some innards coming out from the bottom of him. Oh yeah, and that's a portable toilet seat. Niiice!
This was a spooky train at one of the camp sites. Inside the back car was a man and his son handing out candy. We thought it was quite clever.
Teresa and I have decided that next year we're really going to step it up. We want to decorate our site a lot more - and enter the pumpkin carving contest - and give awesome treats to kids. Too bad we have to wait a year to do it again!!!
