Originally Brad wanted to try to make an Oscar Meyer wiener car. Of course that was going to be a lot of work. Instead he decided to do a Hokie car.
Brad designed the contours of the car and Jake cut it out.
It took many coats of white paint to cover the block of wood.
The stripes and decals go on. We had PawPaw get some VT stickers to add some more umph to the car.
Jake helped Brad tape the car off and Brad helped with the painting.
And here's the Hokie! We had a broken Hokie ornament that we decided to use. We also bought orange wheels rather than using the black ones that come in the kit.
Not only was it a good lookin' car, it won 2nd place overall in the pack. Brad was the #1 Bear from both packs 131 and 231. He will now move on to the district race next month.
