Now that we are in the new Winchester South building for church, we must make it a bit more homey. The walls still don't have any art work and the building seems a bit plain. So to spice things up, I decorated our bulletin board.
The open house for the building is the middle of April. That said, we have a few projects to complete --- the HUGE bulletin board also in the Primary Room and a display table of Cub Scouts. Eek! There is a lot to do.
Now I don't want anyone thinking I'm so awesome and came up with this idea on my own. I wish I were so creative, but alas, I'm not! I got this idea from Sugardoodle - which is one of the best reference websites for creative ideas in our church callings.
It's not quite done yet. I just bought some grass stuff from the dollar store today that I'm going to put coming out from under the picnic blanket. I will likely add a ribbon border around the top. I just like that it emphasizes the scriptures (which is the theme of primary this year) and is colorful.
Stay tuned for the big board - when it's done!
